Hello guys.

I know my subject has been addressed in other threads but i can't find a solution and those posts are way too old.

I am having an issue with my cuteftp 8.3.2.

When i installed it for the first time, it worked fine. i was uploading and downloading files to my ftp server with no problem in fact i've never had this kind of problems in the past with any ftp programs but this time its just annoying as hell.

Couple weeks ago, my friend installed an antivirus on my computer, i think the CONTROL CONNECTION CLOSED problem occured because of that. i uninstalled the antivirus, disabled the windows fire wall, restarted my computer few times but it still says CONTROL CONNECTION CLOSED. this is really fraustrating and i need help immediately.

i am posting the error message below:

I've seen several other Yahoo web host users report the same problem, so I'm 99.9% sure this is a problem on Yahoo's end. You can get in touch with their support dept at http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/webhosting/gftp/

Thanks a lot dude. you were right, i contacted yahoo and resolved the issue.
