Installed the WAFS agent (v3.6.2.9911) on a Windows 2008R2 Server.  It was launching at startup (as a Service) just fine UNTIL this server was made an Active Directory Domain Controller (at which time, AppLocker apparently kicked in).

I have managed to tell the application to run with Administrator Priviledges, but it still is not registering as a Service and must be launched manually at startup.

Can anyone help with getting the WAFS Agent back to a Service?

thanks in advance,
Dave

I thought that WAFS would only run as an application and not a service on Windows 2008/2008R2, based on http://help.globalscape.com/help/wafs3/index.htm#Using_WAFS_on_Windows_Server_2008_or_Vista.htm

WAFS 3.6.2.9911 on Windows 2008 Server, the WAFS system runs as an application and not as a service.  Please see the information located at the following location:

Also, when applications won't run on a Domain Controller, one of the usual suspects is the inability to have local accounts on DC's.

O.K., that's a disappointment...

Thanks for the quick replies, though  .
